Mar 29th, 2010/AWal:Anyone actually paying attention to the GLAN website prolly noticed that Kill is asking for banner designs or input. DO BOTH AND CHOP-CHOP!
Mar 28th, 2010/AWal:Thank you to all who came. We got our butts kicked as seems the standard now, but we still had fun. I just hope Squall doesn't end up decapitating something with that new gatling gun. I heard he might mod it to a 7v acid battery (yikes!) 'O_O'
Feb 18th, 2010/AWal:Here's the plan...If you are going with the GAMERZLAN group, we are going to meet up by 2:00PM Friday (2/19/2010). On a side note, some ppl from out-of-down will be meeting at Central Square (ah, the good 'ol competing resturaunts). Address for Watertown rendezvous: 807 W Main St; The mail box reads "Teh C4sa Teh L33t" (no joke) :)

Jan 31st, 2010/AWal:You have rufly too weaks (I think that's how you'd say it) to get your registration and payment cleared at the website. You better act quick, because VIP is up and it'll be here soon.
I'd also like to take a bit of time to let everyone know that although there is currently no LAN center, word has it that construction on Karza's barage will resume with change of seasons. Keep an eye out on the forums and IMs from the usual ppl.
Look around and you will see some new topics like sharing your Live Tags and posting Guitar Hero scores.
Pay close attention to Killalot's HomeGLAN Security thread to find out info about upcoming LANs and be sure to get there to meet all of the GLANners.
GamerzLAN is going on TOUR! This has nothing to do with Massive LAN and nothing to do with the sale of some stuff. This has to do with the Spirit of GLAN. I have a meeting tomorrow with important city peeps (Even though it's a tour, not just Watertown) and I think this could be fun. I will fill you in. I prob should have shut up till papers are signed but,,, That's not me. P34C3 0u7 Karza
Last week I had an epiphone.
Viper wanted me to come down to his picnic outside of the GLAN. (His Day, all food and treats on him). I had to work..
For probably 5 weeks Tim asked me if I could make it. I always said. "Yeah." The day of the event came. Tim called me and messaged me every half hour asking me to be there. I was thinking he had something to talk about. An issue with a person at the GLAN or some other crap. That has always been the divide between Tim and Myself. He is responsible, I am Karza... Biggs (the bigg-est) sig to ever live) works with me and talked me into going down for his break before I went home. We were met by a a circle of geeks talking about games from before your grandma even picked up a joystick. This was something that I have to say will never happen again in Watertown. Ten people gathered around a cooler talking about Mega man bosses doesn't happen too often. Well, I guess I meant AT ALL! PS Bloodless brought a girl!
Back to Viper wanting me to be there... I looked at him and I said, "What?"
I expected him to have an issue with someone or something or some other Viper-managerial issue.
He looked at me and said, "What?"
All he wanted was for me to be there......... The tears Viper and I have shared will always make this worth it. Next time you take your girlfriend to a chick flick, learn from Viper and I. Cry........ It will get you laid! Trust me!
I love you guys, I love.....
James Shannon, I met Jimmy.net at my place of work and one day I brought in 1000 CD's. He looked at me and said, "I love you.111!!!" GLAN was his idea but I am bound by law to say that he doesn't know you...
Viper for holding all this shit together and being Me when I couldn't. Without Tim GamerzLAN would have died before some of you guys even knew it existed. The only reason he put up with less shit from Me than James Shannon is because Someone needs to put up with me and there can be only one.
Cain for waiting for that spanking (it's comin Son, don't fuk up) you have been through alot and I want you to know my family is there for you. Never in history has anyone ever been pwned like I owned you at Massive.. I mean come on Man... I really OWNED you... Slave. scratch my back! ;-)
AWal for pissing me off more than anyone your age ever did and never meant it ! It's just you are too smart (no, just plain SMART) I plan on sending you places I didn't go.
Outsider for bleeding all over the fukin place and having Teffer drive you to Drum and take a Guilfoyle ecnalumbA ( look in your rearview mirror-foos) all the way back to HGS when Guilfoyle is less than 300 feet away. This is when I met you guys, this is when and forever, We became friends.
OK, to make this fair I am going down the memberlist..
Dunpeal_III: Created Dulles, also contributed to the logo. A friend and keeper of the bone end forever. Constant consultant. One of My first contacts with the GLAN venture. Pat also is the first customer.
veerwolf: Nate's Father's tools and Nate's skillz helped build the GLAN. Without Veerwolf you would have nothing to sit on and never have the story of the Great Last Man Standing memory challenge of the_Details vs veerwolf.
Biggs: DAMN your sig is big. Thanks for making me scroll you bastard. Also thanks for taking the time to do the PHP update needed. I trust very few. .
Agent007: You are the best admin I have ever seen. You don't go personal. You just go right.
CaptainJaneway: Painter (she painted the frames behind the GLAN counter!).... GIRL.....
Goat_of_Fury:Justin, You have always added your puter into the First Night Fray and been there when I need you to. Thanks Man. I will forgive you for playing WoW!
saladin: My Brother in all this,my friend. Marcus goes back to the start. It doesn't take THREE WISE MEN to get this right!
goodcarr: Cheater (not) Half way through the wall kinda guy,,,,Just ask his school. The GLAN 1.0 was heralded in by this D3 release night modicker.. Those that were there, rejoice! HE'S GETTING POWERUPS THAT AREN'T ON THIS LEVEL. OMFG!!!! HE's HALF WAY THROUGH THE FREKKIN WALL. ID NOCLIP
the_Details: NOPE...... I can say nothing here...... The GLAN for details is the RotJ for the ESB of gaming. More to follow.
Pandamonium: I just actually let a tear lose,,, When the GLAN closes it's doors. I expect your Mother to meet you at the door as you ride out on your case, I expect everyone to be there and I want cheers!!! Your Mother will think we are wierd and that's always kewl.
OK, I will finish this in a couple days.
^^^^^above requires a moment of silence^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ok, I gotta finish this tomorrow, k?
I will,,,, I will....

Enter the realm of Queen August. There are many bands in NNY but Queen August has been hand picked by me because this band is driven....
Why listen to me when you can read this review of the Battle of the Bands at the State Office Building -- Dulles BTW :)
Queen August: This band blew me out of my chair. As soon as I heard the first 20 seconds of their first song, I knew I would like them. The keyboard player who sings, or vice versa, was un-fucking-believable. His voice was so accurate I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The guitar player had a unique playing style that made him remembered even after leaving the stage. His first solo blew my mind, The bass player was not only fun to watch, but very good and "unlike" any bass player in style. Very strange basslines, very odd. But the drummer was the kicker. The kid had to be only 18 years old and he drums better than ANY player I have seen out of this area for a long time. Always on the beat, and as flashy as a lot of pro players in the jazz field. I will admit that there is no keyboard player anywhere in this area that could keep up to that guy. He had three on stage and as far as I could see, handled them all. The songs were so trippy, but not enough to be cliche. Where the fuck did this band come from? Seriously... I was floored. ~Allen Weaver (WWTY)
March 17, 18, and 19 marks the return of the annual Leper Con LAN. In the Irish spirit we will be having a Fight Night 3 (XBox 360) tournament winner take all of a minimum purse of 50 bucks. Fight Night? OK, we will watch that in HiDef GLAN-o-Vision before the tourny just to get ya in the mood.
Other gamez you will need to make sure are loaded are Battlefield 2 (Special Forces), Star Wars Battlefront II, Counter Strike: Source and of course UT 2004. You gotta be in it to win so get yer ass in the game.
CORRECTION: above was wrongly stated (by me) as UT2003 should be UNREAL TOURNAMENT 2004. Sorry for any inconveniences if it caused any, 347 meh!
Same Bat time, Same Bat Place. All I have to say is a local bank Rocks! More info to come but things at the GLAN are gonna be "heating" up!
Thanks to the GLANiacs EVERYONE was a huge help. Viper "stop saying my name", Ternick "top rung of the ladder", Killalot "breakalot o' Bawls", Kane "nothing is booting", Cloud "call my Dad", Bloodless "didn't get to jam the guitar game", AWal "DDR Fairy", ST "go to the store", Panda "am or pm", and a couple guys I am sure I forgot or don't know your name. I want to have a big get together so I can actually meet some of you guys and play IN a few games against ya or part of your team. I know you all can pull your weight in a team setting and I am happy to have you guys watching my back. Happy New Year! P34C3 0u7 ~Karza
By request the GLAN facility will be open Friday (New Years Eve EVE) So be there!
Happy Holidays to all. Had a great time Tuesday. Guitar Hero RAWKS! Bloodless is a star WEWT! GLAN will be open Fri 23rd but closed 24th and 25th for Christmas. Our next LAN will be the First Night Bash on New years Eve at The Dulles State Office Building in Watertown, NY. Sign up in our forum if you can help us out with the setup or running of this event. We need girls to be Bawls Girls and I will pay 20 bucks plus 1 dollar for every four Bawls sold to each girl (need at least 2) so tell yer sister or her hot friend. IM Karza if you are interested in this. Have a great Holiday everyone and keep your fingers crossed for everything to work out ok in the coming month for ths GLAN. P34C3 0u7! ~Karza
Possibly even at our Xmas/ Video Game Awards Video Shoot Tuesday 12/10! That is like tommorrow or tonight depending on when you are reading this. Stop on in and find out WTF it's all about.
That was an awesome last sat. Although the Bloodless will never play counterstrike source again it was a blast to basically own Killalot's team and to get hopped up on bawls. A great turnout and some great games are why the Bloodless defrosts his car at 7 at night and wears six layers of clothing and stays up until 6 in the morning when he should be sleeping. It is great to see new faces(Chris, and Chris and the mysterious Killalot..lol) and to see alot of the old ones making cameo appearances (including the onery Doctor Abortion who almost impaled his car with a shovel). And now that Karza may be returning to the throne, the Bloodless thinks that temporary lan funk may be approaching an end.
And to all the nay sayers the Bloodless says nay. Because while you are playing WOW at home cursing at Elf_Ranger you are missing out on a watertown institution that at any time could be more endangered than the dinsasours(the Bloodless knows not how to spell that word) if not for the valiant efforts of people like Karza, Viper, Kain, Awal and a host of others. The Bloodless dares to say that for gamers looking for a real gaming experience to cap off a long week of work and play, Gamerzlan is the shimmering light at the end. And as the Bloodless has seen from this weekend...the lan is back in full swing. The Bloodless looks forward to the weeks ahead and some great games! ~Bloodless
This New Years Eve Gamerz LAN will be returning to First Night with a couple added games and expanding on what was popular last year. 2 12 foot projection units featuring the new XBox 360 gaming system from Microsoft and DDR Dance Dance Revolution featuring totally interactive imaging software/hardware that puts you into the game-- literally! Many High End Gaming Computers networked together so you can play with your friends or play on the internet on High Speed Internet brought to you by Westelcom. Free Samples of the Exclusive Beverage of Gamerz LAN: Bawls Guarana- only available in upstate NY at the GLAN compound and at First Night! (limited : while supplies last) Any GLANiacs who want to help out this year stop in the forums and let us know!
OK GLANiacs and fellow Friends and your Families. I have a mission here that could save you a hill of cash as far as your monthly GLAN allowance.
Oh yeah! ANOTHER big LAN you say? Hells Yeah, I say. The theme of this LAN is F.E.A.R. the game and FEAR of the Devil!
Starting this Friday Sept 30th GamerzLAN will add Friday to the existing schedule. The new week will now be:
GLAN wants to thank the GLANiacs for yet again another kick ass weekend. Our attendance has been record breaking and it just keeps getting better. You guys rock! As a show of appreciation GLAN will be open Saturday at noon free of charge. Bring your quarters though because Tekken is a must.
At 2pm we will show the 2 hour "trailer" of Final Fantasy : Advent Children starring eminem. Yes,,,,,, it really has eminem in it ;-) Be there or don't!
Grats go out to Crkfiend for winning the first double elimination Tekken tournament. Make sure everyone stops down and checks out the new arcade madness.
WoW! How can someone play a MMORPG and still find time to have sex? Maybe you need to give lessons to Justin? One of our favorite mods Agent007 and his wife Agent-Amyhadababy have had the best thing life can throw at them. A Beautiful baby boy! Sucks that Karza called it and Cap'n' Janeway gets to name him!
Born Sept 13th at 1:12 pm his name is Isaac James Quonce. He is 9lbs 13oz and he is 21.5 inches long. Also he looks just like Daddy with a dash of Mommy to make him a keeper! Best of everything to you guys, we love ya and are there as long as we don't have to change a diaper! Honestly, I think you two will be such good parents I will lift the have-a-baby curse and turn it into a blessing! Sarah even says, "You can keep the name!"
I guess I will even stop the Regan popup For a couple days cause cute and scariest shit on Earth do not go hand in hand...
The 5.1 Logitech Surround Sound System has found a home! Congrats!
As a bare minimum install these games if you want to be in most of the events.
This just in::: An AMD X mach8 running at 8.6 Ghz was awarded next year to the winner of our soon to be annual 4D Mark 07. Kudos go out to Johnny T for his whopping 2036 beating our soon to be former 2008. When asked, "What's under the hood?" Johnny said the secret is in the trunk. Nice amo case mod I might add too. But the stickers are a little corny.
By popular demand the GamerzLAN picz of past events are back online and on a new and improved (and medically tested) server-Thanks Quickdraw. Take a click on the left PICZ section and peruse our thumbnails. Look for pics from Massive LAN very soon.
CJs are willing to link up in the near future so look forward to some fun from our friends out West. Also congrats to Cyber Jocks for opening the Texas location this weekend! Thanks to Nick for the guided tour. We certainly hope so....... Hey folks, this is Karza coming to you live from Massive LAN. Everything is going great so we thought we would post some pictures that our friend Sockie the MoBo had taken on the exodus to Massive. More to come! P34c3 0u7
From last night forward every Tuesday we will have a 6-10pm Battlefield 2 Tuesday Night League (TNL- bet you thought it was a geforce refference ya geeks!) Last night had 7 soldiers at the compound as a test run on the [G]LAN Trinity Server (F][lter your admin) and it came off nicely. By next week the GLAN plans on having a little boost in the bandwidth and going synchronous to allow more GLANiacs to reach outside ranked servers from within the Newell Street location. Not to be confused with our North Meadow Street location of course.
If you are interested just drop in Tuesday night between 6 to 10 and we will hook you up. Price for the league is just 5 bucks a Tuesday but bring some change for some Bawls cause you know you want one or two! Frag ya Saturday and see ya Tuesday! ~GLAN_Karza
It's time to kick off our Summer BF2 League. We will have a little meeting of the minds and some playtime tomorrow 6/28/05 at 6pm till 11. So stop on down and lets get this thing underway. We have limited spots available and they are filling up fast. Cost for weekly BF2 Tuesday Night League is only 5 bucks to cover expenses. Bring extra cash though because we will have plenty of Bawls all summer long! For more details stop in and check it out. If you don't feel you have the skillz sign up anyway and I'm sure you can use this opportunity as a learning tool as there will be some very good players on hand who I am sure will be more than happy to teach you Padawan! Also, watch the forum for information re: the official GamerzLAN ranked server coming soon brought to you by Filter and GamerzLAN! What are you waiting for? Start fighting or we'll find someone who can!
OK, folks. We are starting a weekday once a week Battlefield 2 Summer League in the next few weeks that will run all summer long. We will create the first official GLANclan and take part in ladder matches and organized practices at a time to be determined by GLAN Peeps availability. I am thinking a weekday night from 6-10 or 7-11. This is open for debate and we will have a meeting at the GLAN next week sometime to talk over our plans.
Ever wanted to tear your parent's computer apart and transform it into a gaming beast? Here's your chance. Visit the forums for official rules and more.......stuff! CHECK IT OUT

BTW, anybody stoked about tonight's release>? I have the entire week off so I am sitting here waiting for Steam to let my copy go! Halo Tourny Friday Nov 19th 6pm!Hornet has setup a Halo tourny. Following is from his post in the forums. More info to come. So what do u guys think of setting up a halo 2 tournament for november 19th at 6pm til whenever. It should be a 2vs2 and be 20 bucks a team or 10 bucks a person for you math wizards. Sign up HERE Gametype should be team deathmatch to 50 kills. All levels should be chosen at random. And team colors should be picked by a coin toss. The winning team of the toss gets to pick color or if they want to host. Im thinking the first round of the tournament should be determined by how many teams show up. We should set it up by letting each team play so many games at random against a set amount of opposing teams depending on how many teams are there. Then at the end of each game we should record the scores and then at the end of those random matches we take the top killing teams and put them in a playoff bracket. Then each playoff round should be a best 2 out of 3 to advance. Silence of the Baby! There, Halloween has ended so by popular demand we have told the baby to STFU! I also want to thank BlueBomber for the baby flash, that was fun. We had a bloody good time at LANing Dead! With Outsider winning a free ride in a flashy van and a monthly VIP membership~! Remember everyone, signup here for Nov VIP membership only 40 bucks to be l33t, what are you waiting for? The winner of the MAME 16 man double elimination Fighter triathalon was BlueBomber!! Way to go, and thanks for bringing down your Uber gaming setup. He then put his half price membership up for grabs as he owned the arcade system. the_Details walked with the second chance prize with Rancid finishing second! This was very well recieved so I am sure we will do this again in the not so distant future. oOOOoooOOooOOooOooooOoOOoOoO --Making that funny noise with my throat and crawling down the stairs wearing a long black Halloween wig. Again BlueBomber gets a big thanks for bringing his import of Ju On (the Grude) 2. Creepy Stuff on the big screen. BTW BlueBomber was the official "sponsor" of LANing Dead now that I think of it. Our 4am Scavenge in the Dark for a Z-Board was won by Hornet and Outsider. Hornet found a whopping 24 PC parts to pull ahead of the now Disgruntled Rancid who had 18. We also would like to thank The Disabled Persons Org and all it's wonderful crew, the State Office Building security and engineering staff (we will see you guys in a game REAL soon!) Big kudos go out to Kathy and Sandra from Public Transportation for being so flexible and just all around great people, it sure was fun watching the fireworks through the front window of a moving bus standing past the yellow line.. Karza=rebel. Woot Woot!
I haven't received official word on participation but my guess is two to three hundred and I think it may actually be higher. Bawls was a huge hit so next time we will be sure to have the high octane drink in double doses to satisfy the masses. The channel 10 news gave us some good air time with the drowned rat interview of Karza and some shots of the news woman dancing on the DDR along with some very familiar looking kids getting down and funky.
Well friends, Welcome to 2k5 (so where is the new UT2K5?) Expect some kewl news in the next few days with the return of the Monthly sponsored LAN and LAN memberships with Bawls in Feb. Talk to you in a few and again... Thx
More info to come PM GLAN_Karza if you can offer your services.

So what do u guys think of setting up a halo 2 tournament for november 19th at 6pm til whenever.
It should be a 2vs2 and be 20 bucks a team or 10 bucks a person for you math wizards.

Gametype should be team deathmatch to 50 kills.
